Terms of Service

Draft, pending legal review. Last updated: 6 October 2026.

1. Who we are

HHData.co.uk is a service operated by Murphy Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales (no. 14550913), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ ("we", "us"). By placing an order you ("you") agree to these terms.

2. The service

We obtain the half-hourly (HH) electricity consumption data for a UK commercial meter, identified by its MPAN, and deliver it to you as a CSV file. Before anything is retrieved, the account holder authorises the release of their data directly.

3. Your authority

You confirm that you have the account holder's authority to request their data, or that you are the account holder. The account holder must separately confirm the request by email before we proceed. If authorisation is not confirmed, we will not retrieve any data and you will not be charged.

4. Price and payment

Our prices are shown on the order page, from £39 plus VAT per meter, with lower pricing per meter for multiple meters. When you order, we place a pre-authorisation on your payment method; we take payment only when the data is delivered. A VAT invoice is provided for each completed order.

5. No data, no charge

If the meter is not half-hourly settled, if the account holder does not confirm, or if the data cannot be retrieved for any reason, the pre-authorisation is released and you are not charged for that meter. Where a charge has been taken and we are unable to deliver, we refund it.

6. Delivery

We deliver the data by email as a CSV once the account holder has authorised the release. We do not commit to a specific delivery time.

7. Use of the data

The data is drawn from the relevant industry systems and is provided as supplied by those systems. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of third-party data. You must use the data lawfully and only for the purpose for which the account holder authorised its release. You must not request data for a meter you are not authorised to act for.

8. Liability

Our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the fees paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Data protection

We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
